Running Adaptec Storage Manager from the
CD
Note: Before you begin, ensure that your system is set up to boot from a
CD . C heck the system BIOS to see if the CD driv e is listed first in the boot
order. For more information, refer to your computer’s documentation.
To run Adaptec Storage Manager in bootable-CD mode:
1Insert the RAID installation CD into your CD drive, then restart
your computer.
2When prompted, select the language you want, then press Enter.
3Review the license information, then press Enter.
The main Adaptec Storage Manager CD menu opens.
4Click Launch Configuration Utility.
Adaptec Storage Manager opens.
5Click Create..
The Configuration wizard opens.
