Press the [Avg] hardkey.

Toggle the [AVERAGE ON OFF] softkey (F1) until ON is highlighted.

Press the [NUMBER AVERAGES] softkey (F2).

Enter 5 and press the [ENTER] softkey (F1).

To avoid averaging overloaded data, turn on overload reject as follows:

Press the [Avg] hardkey.

Toggle the [OVLD REJ ON OFF] softkey (F1) until ON is highlighted.

To start taking measurements,

Press the yellow [Start] hardkey.

Hammer the structure at one measurement point. After the data is acquired and displayed, hammer the structure again, and repeat 5 times until the average is complete.
