Section 25 : Importing Plots into Microsoft Word
The plotter output of the AGILENT 35670A conforms to the

Before importing a plot file, Word must have the
•On a PC, start Microsoft Word or open a new document.
•Select Insert Picture
•In the “Insert Picture” dialog box, at the bottom, click on the arrow next to “Files of Type”.
•Scroll up and down the list, looking for “HP Graphics Language.”
If “HP Graphics Language” is present, then the

Run Word Setup, by running “a:setup” from 3.5” disks, Word or Office
•After setup has initialized, select “Add/Remove” (components).
•In the Maintenance Dialog Box, click on the “Converters, Filters and Data Access” option.
•Click on the “Change Option” button.
•Click on “Graphics Filters”
•Click on the “Change Option” button.
•Scroll down to the HP Graphics Language entry. The check box next to it should be empty.
•Click on the HP Graphics Language check box.
•Click on the “OK” button.
•Click on the “OK” button.
•Click on the “Continue” button.
•Click on the “OK” button.
The HP Graphics Language import filter has now been installed and activated. To make sure the filter has been installed,
•Return to Word.
•Select Insert Picture
•In the “Insert Picture” dialog box, at the bottom, click on the arrow next to “Files of Type”.
•Scroll up and down the list, looking for “HP Graphics Language.”
It should now be an import option.
