AGILENT 35670A

Supplemental Operator’s Guide

•Select the [SYSTEM CONTROLLR] softkey (F2).

Check the Plot/Print Destination

•Press the [Plot/Print] hardkey.

•Press the [PLOT/PRNT DESTINATN] softkey (F4).

•Select the [OUTPUT TO GPIB] softkey (F1).

Plot the Trace

•Place a sheet of paper in the plotter and locate P1 and P2, if not done automatically.

•Press the [Plot/Print] hardkey.

•Press the [START PLOT] softkey (F1).

Printing the Display

Results may be sent to a printer using the serial or parallel ports. The parallel port requires no setup. The serial port must be configured to match the parameters of the printer.

Print over Serial Interface to Raster Device

•Press the [Plot/Print] hardkey.

•Press the [PLOT/PRNT DEVICE] softkey (F3).

•Select the [RASTER PRINTER] softkey (F2).

•Press the [Plot/Print] hardkey.

•Press the [PLOT/PRNT DESTINATN] softkey (F4).

•Select the [OUTPUT TO SERIAL] softkey (F2).

•Press the [Plot/Print] hardkey.

•Press the [MORE SETUP] softkey (F9).

•Press the [SERIAL SETUP] softkey (F9).

•Choose serial setup parameters that match the printer. With luck the default choices will already match the printer.

Print over Parallel Interface to Raster Device

•Press the [Plot/Print] hardkey.

•Press the [PLOT/PRNT DEVICE] softkey (F3).

•Select the [RASTER PRINTER] softkey (F2).

•Press the [Plot/Print] hardkey.

•Press the [PLOT/PRNT DESTINATN] softkey (F4).

•Select the [OUTPUT TO PARALLEL] softkey (F4).

Print the Trace

•Press the [Plot/Print] hardkey.

•Press the [START PLOT] softkey (F1).
