Disconnect the negative lead (ground) from the battery terminal to prevent any damage to the electrical system.
LEVELING TRACTOR:
TRACTOR MUST be on level ground before assembly is begun. The tractor must be level, All tires must have the proper amount of air in them as per tire and/or Tractors manufactures recommendations. DO NOT level tractor by over inflating tires. The tractor can be leveled by jacking it up and putting it on jack stands if needed. Tractor should be kept at ride/operation height when mounting unit, this will insure that the components are mounted at the correct height.
