Caution
•Power requirements: Power outlet with AC 100–120 V, 50/60 Hz or AC 220–240, V 50/60 Hz.
•Use a voltage level that does not vary more than ±10% from the voltage level marked on the
scanner nameplate. The nameplate is located on the back side of the scanner.
•The scanner must be connected to a grounded outlet.
•The scanner should be used only with the power cord that is supplied with the scanner or with a
power cord that has been approved by a certified electrical contractor.
•Do not use an extension cord.
Handling the CD-ROM
To prevent accidental damage to CD-ROMs, handle them carefully as shown below:
•Do not touch or write on the surface of the disc.
•Do not leave the disc out of the protective case.
•Do not leave the disc in direct sunlight or near heat sources.
