Command
Modes
Interface configuration mode
Description Use this command to specify the interface ingress QoS trust mode, which controls user priority
mapping of incoming traffic. The untrusted mode overrides all incoming priority markings with the
Interface Default CoS. The CoS mode sets the user priority based on the incoming CoS value, if the
incoming packet is not priority tagged, then fallback is to the Interface Default CoS value. Use the
no qos trust command to return to the default.
Usage
Guidelines
When a CEE map is applied on an interface, the qos trust command is not allowed. The CEE map
always puts the interface in the CoS trust mode. This command is not applicable for port-channel
interfaces.
Examples To set the interface QoS to the trust mode:
switch(conf-if-te-0/1)#qos trust cos
To return the interface QoS to the default value or to the untrusted state:
switch(conf-if-te-0/1)#no qos trust
When a CEE map is applied, the switch does not allow the qos trust cos command and displays the
following error:
switch(conf-if-te-0/1)#cee demo
switch(conf-if-te-0/1)#qos trust cos
% Error: QoS is not in non-CEE Provisioning mode
