dot1x timeout tx-period
Sets the number of seconds that the switch waits for a response to an Extensible Authentication
Protocol (EAP) request or identity frame from the client before retransmitting the request.
Synopsis dot1x timeout tx-period seconds
Operands seconds Specifies the time in seconds between successive request ID attempts. The
range of valid values is 1-65535.
Defaults The default timeout is 30 seconds.

Description Use this command to set the interval between successive attempts to request an ID (EAP ID Req).

Examples To set 34 as the number of seconds to wait for a response to an EAP-request or identity frame from
