7 Receive Mode

 

Displays messages to help you set up and operate your machine.

Use to select how the machine will handle incoming calls.

2 Hook

8 Resolution

Lets you dial telephone and fax numbers without lifting the handset.

3Dial Pad

Dials phone and fax numbers and can be used as a keyboard for entering information into the machine.

# key lets you switch the dialling type during a telephone call from "PULSE" to "TONE". (Not available in New Zealand)

4Redial/Pause

Re-dials the last number called. Also inserts a pause in autodial numbers.

5Search/Mute

Lets you dial stored phone numbers by pressing # and a two-digit number or lets you look up numbers stored in the dialling memory. Also, lets you put calls on hold.

6Recall

Use this key to gain access to an outside line and/or to recall the operator or transfer a call to another extension when it is connected to a PABX. (Australia & New Zealand only)

Sets the resolution when you send a fax or make a copy.

9Stop/Exit

Stops a fax, cancels an operation or exits from Menu mode.

0Fax Start

Starts an operation, such as sending a fax.

ACopy/Reports

With document in the Automatic Document Feeder: Makes a copy. Without document in the Automatic Document Feeder: Lets you access the Reports menu so you can select a report to print: HELP LIST, QUICK-DIAL,

FAX JOURNAL, XMIT VERIFY, TEL.INDEX, USER SETTINGS and MEMORY STATUS List.

These four keys give you instant access to previously stored phone numbers.
