 Wipe the scanner glass strip with a dry lint free soft cloth (see Advanced User's Guide: Cleaning the scanner).

 Clean all four corona wires (one for each color) inside the drum unit by sliding the green tab (see Cleaning the corona wires on page 82).

 Make sure the green tab of the corona wire is at the home position (a)(1).
