NOTE:

This unit cannot use the Common Microphones. Instead, the User has to connect the audio out of a Camera or a Microphone with a Line Out facility.

8.3. SYSTEM

System setup defines various system settings such as hard disk drive settings, system clock, password for multiple users and buzzer etc. Moreover the system settings can be reinitialized, saved or retrieved from the USB flash memory, as well as updating the DVR firmware.

At the MAIN MENU,

Double-click SYSTEM or highlight SYSTEM and then press the ENTER button and you can see the SYSTEM menu like the left picture.

Click the X button or press the ESC button to exit from this screen.

8.3.1. HDD (HARD DISK DRIVE)

At the SYSTEM menu,

Double-click HDD or highlight HDD and then press the ENTER button and you can see the HDD menu like the left picture.

User has to format the HDD before using it for recording.

Click the X button or press the ESC button to exit from this screen.

8.3.1.1. REC HDD FORMAT

The hard disk drives set for normal recording can be initialized at any time by accessing this menu.

At the HDD menu,

Double-click REC HDD FORMAT or highlight REC HDD FORMAT and then press the ENTER button and the REC HDD FORMAT window will be displayed like the left picture.

If you want to initialize, double-click YES or move the cursor to YES using the ▲,▼ buttons and then press the ENTER button.

If you want to cancel the HDD format, double-click NO or move the cursor to NO using the ▲,▼ buttons and then press the ENTER button.
