Jumper	Setting	Description
NVRAM_CLR		The configuration settings in NVRAM are
		retained at next system boot.
	Pins 3-5	(default)
		The configuration settings are cleared at the next
		system boot. (If the configuration settings
	Pins 1-3	become corrupted to the point where the system
		will not boot, install the jumper and boot the
		system. Remove the jumper before restoring the
		configuration information.)
PWRD_EN		The password feature is enabled.
	Pins 2-4	(default)
		The password feature is disabled.

The SAS backplane is present in systems that have a front-loading hot-plug hard drive bay (when available). Figure 6-2 shows the locations of the SAS backplane connectors.
