SETTING BOTTOM PAUSEThe bottom pause stops the piston before the pour spout area, creating a vacuum and allowing time for the liquid coffee to be pulled through the coffee grounds and the filter. If this setting is too low, it may create brewer flooding problems as there is not enough time to draw all the liquid from the brew chamber into the brewer cylinder.
1.To adjust the "BOTTOM PAUSE", press the "UP" button on the hidden menu scroll buttons and scroll until the following message appears,
a)Press the "START" button to enter the set mode.
b)At this point, you can now select the cup size and product by pressing the appropriate buttons on the selection panel. The "BOTTOM PAUSE" setting displayed will correspond to the LED's that are illuminated.
c)Using the hidden setting adjustment buttons, increase or decrease the timing for the "BOTTOM PAUSE".
d)To exit the "SET BOTTOM PAUSE" mode and proceed to the next setting, press the "UP" or "DOWN" scroll buttons.
