<MIDI message supported by the LR16>

The [MIDI OUT] port of the LR16 sends MTC (MIDI Time Code) message which allows syn- chronization between the LR16 and external MIDI equipment. The frame rate of MTC is set to 25 fps by default, however, you can also set it to 30 fps (see the right column on this page for details about how to set the frame rate).

<Note>: It is recommended to set the frame rate before you make recording in the new project mode or you create a new project using the "Project" menu in the MENU mode.

<Note>: The LR16 can be a master but can- not be a slave.

<Memo>: This manual contains the MIDI implementation chart of the LR16 on page

86.When you use MIDI equipment with the LR16, check the MIDI implementation charts of the LR16 and MIDI equipment.

(3)Use the [MENU] dial to highlight "Default frame" and press the [ENTER] key.

The current frame setting starts flashing (by default, "25FPS" is selected).

(4)Use the [MENU] dial to select the desired frame rate and press the [ENTER] key.

You can select between "25FPS" and "30FPS".

(5)Press the [STOP] key to exit the MENU mode.

<Memo>: If you initialize the system memory via the "Sys default memory" menu item of the "System" menu, the frame rate reverts back to the default setting ("25FPS").
