The air adjustmentshutterforthe top (broil) burnerisinthe centerofthe rearwallofthe oven.

To determine if the bottom burner flames are burning properly, remove the oven bottom and the burner baffle (see below). Flames should have approximately 1“blue cones and, if range is supplied with natural gas, should burn with no yellowtipping. (With most LP gas, small yeflow tips at the end of outer cones are normal.) Flames should not lift off burner ports. If mg

is observed, gradually reduce air shutter opening until flames are stabitied. With the baffle in place, the flames should burn steady and should not extend past the edges of the burner baffle.

The shutterfor the bottom (oven)burner is near the backwallbehindthe storagedraweror the kickpanel (dependingon the model).Remove the draweror panel. (SeeCareand Cleaning sectionin this book.)

To adjust the flow of air to either burner, loosen the Philtips head screw and rotate the shutter toward open or closed position as needed.
