MAIN MENU > GENERAL SETTINGS > CHECK FOR UPDATE
1Press the Settings icon on the Touch Display.
2The General Settings Menu appears.
3Press the General Settings Check for Update button.
4The camera will now check the inserted card/cards for update files.
Swipe right or press Menu / EXIT button to get back to Main Menu.

UPDATE X1D FIRMWARE PROCEDURE
1Download the latest X1D Firmware from www.hasselblad.com.
2Save the Firmware file to a SD Card.
3Insert the SD Card in the X1D Camera.
4Select Settings from the Main Menu.
5Select Service / Firmware Update / Check for Update.
6Make sure the Firmware File Name and Number corresponds to the latest Firmware File you have downloaded.
7Select Update.
8Select Update in the Update Dialogue to start the X1D Firmware Update.
9During the update the text "Update in progress" is displayed on the X1D Camera Display.
10Do not turn off the X1D Camera during the Update Progress.
11The Update will take several minutes.
12When the Update is finished this text will be displayed: "Update Finished. Please remove and reinsert battery!".
13Remove and reinsert the battery.
14Start the X1D Camera.
15The new X1D Firmware is now installed!
