3.29 BATTERY

Rechargeable Battery

The environmentally approved Battery (Li-ion 3054752) is the standard Power Source for the X1D Camera (1 and 7. It is advisable to keep an extra fully recharged battery at hand. As is the case with most batteries, problems might be encountered when used in very low temperatures. In this situation it is advisable to keep the reserve battery inside a warm pocket, for example, to maintain it near body temperature. Always attach the Protection Cover (6) when storing the Battery (7).

How to remove a Battery

1Remove the Battery from the camera (1) by rotating the Battery Lever (2).

2The Battery will move up a bit (3) automatically.

3Then press the Battery in a bit but not all the way (4), to release it from the Camera completely.

4Remove the battery (5).

5Mount the Battery Protection Cover (6) to protect the Battery

(7) and prevent short circuit.

How to mount a Battery

1Push the Battery (1) into the Camera Battery Compartment until it locks into place.

Store a Battery

If you intend to store the battery separate from the camera, ensure the Battery Protection Cover (6) is mounted over the electric connections on the Battery (7) to prevent short circuiting.
