Maintenance Schedule The following types of maintenance are recommended:

Daily and “as needed” maintenance

Printing interval warning — the printer maintains a periodic maintenance clock that tracks the total amount of time the printer has spent printing. After the periodic maintenance interval has been reached, the ATTN key will appear on the control panel, and the user will be advised to perform the periodic maintenance items described in this chapter. When you dismiss the warning message, the maintenance clock is reset. The printer does not verify that the periodic mainte- nance is actually performed.
