NOTE: Enabling this option may yield some false positives, and avoiding clipping on those pages will add extra margins to the print that are not actually needed.

If content is detected in the printer margin, the application can try to fix the problem automatically by adjusting the paper source margins (never, when clipping occurs, or when it occurs or may occur).

When adding margins, you can choose between the exact distance needed to avoid clipping and the whole width of the printer margin.

Roll switching: If you choose Non-stop printing (see Job options on page 22), the application will try to carry on printing even if a roll runs out of paper while printing and there is no roll of the same paper type and roll width loaded. In this case, it will look for a roll of the same paper type with a wider roll. The narrowest suitable roll is selected. If there are multiple narrowest suitable rolls, the application can choose between them according to one of the following rules:

Minimize roll switches

Use roll with less paper

Color options: You can select Relative colorimetric, the default setting, or Perceptual, which emulates the output of a PostScript driver. See Color management on page 37.

Hot folder: You can define a hot folder that is automatically monitored by HP Designjet SmartStream,

which will import files from that folder when you click the icon in the job header. If the printer has a scanner, this folder may be used to receive scanned pages.
