Inserting a PC Card
ÄCAUTION: To prevent damage to the PC Card connectors, use minimal force when inserting a PC Card into the PC Card slot.
1.Hold the PC Card
2.Gently push the card into the PC Card slot until the card is seated.

Stopping and Removing a PC Card
ÄCAUTION: To prevent loss of work or an unresponsive system, stop a PC Card before removing it.
✎An inserted PC Card uses power even when it is not in use. To conserve power, stop a PC Card when you are not using it.
1.Close all applications and complete all activities that are supported by the PC Card.
2.To stop a PC Card, select the system tray icon for Safely Remove Hardware, then follow the instructions on the screen. (To display the Safely Remove Hardware icon, select the system tray icon for Show Hidden Icons.)
