When Browsing Contacts, Composing Email, or Creating a Meeting Request

1.Synchronize with the Exchange Server.

2.Do any of the following:

While browsing through your contacts on the Contacts or Phone screen, tap Menu > Company Directory.

In a new email message, tap the To box (or tap Menu>AddRecipient), and then tap CompanyDirectory on the top of the list.

When creating a meeting request and selecting required and optional attendees in Calendar, tap Company Directory.

3.Enter a partial or full contact name and tap Search. In the search results list, tap a contact to select it.

Notes • You can save a contact from the Company Directory to your device by selecting the contact, and then tapping Menu > Save to Contacts.

You can search on the following information as long as that information is included in the Company Directory: First name, Last name, Email name, Display name, Email address, or Office location.

When Viewing a Received Outlook Email Message

1.Open a received Outlook email message.

2.If a Search button ( ) appears to the right of the sender name in the email message, tap this button to search for the sender in the Company Directory.

3.If the sender is found, the contact details will be displayed. You can then choose to save the sender to your contacts, call the sender, and more.

Internet Sharing

Internet Sharing connects your computer to the Internet by using your device’s data connection. You can connect via USB or Bluetooth.

Notes • To use a Bluetooth connection, make sure your computer has built-in Bluetooth capability. If your computer does not have Bluetooth, you can connect and use a Bluetooth adapter or dongle on your computer.

• When you launch Internet Sharing, ActiveSync will automatically disconnect.

Internet Sharing Using USB

1.On your device, tap Start > Tools > Internet Sharing.

2.In the PC Connection list, select USB.

3.In the Network Connection list, select the name of the connection that your device uses to connect to the Internet.

4.Plug in the USB Sync cable between your device and the computer, and then tap Connect.

Internet Sharing Using Bluetooth

1.On your device, turn on Bluetooth and set it to visible mode by following the steps in “Turning Bluetooth On and Making Your Device Visible” on page 100.

2.Initiate a Bluetooth partnership from your device by following the steps in “Creating a Bluetooth Partnership” on page 101.

3.Tap Start > Tools > Internet Sharing.

4.Select Bluetooth PAN as the PC Connection.
