￿Die on unhandled exceptions

This option suppresses any windows that may pop up as a result of a process failing, which hopefully facilitates the full completion of the process and the release of committed resources after a process fails.

This should be used on systems that have other management mechanisms in place to alert an administrator that a process has terminated abnormally.

￿Silent breakaway

This causes any process started by the executing process group to execute outside of the process group. This implies that the newly created process will not be subject to the Process Control rules of the parent process. It is, however, now a candidate for Process Control, according to the master list of Process Control rules, and will be subject to the rules on the next management sweep.

By default, Process Control checks once a minute for processes that fit the rules. This parameter is called Process Scan Interval, and is configured from the Process Control Properties window (right-click Process Control (Local) in Figure 5-25 on page 156 and click Properties then click the Service tab).
