The tree frame in Figure 5-24 shows the different nodes and external enclosures configured. The icons next to the external enclosure names indicate how they are allocated:

￿ indicates that the first (left or A) six PCI slots in the enclosure have been allocated to this node.

￿ indicates that the second (right or B) six PCI slots in the enclosure have been allocated to this node.

￿ indicates that all 12 PCI slots in the enclosure have been allocated to this node.

In Figure 5-24, Enclosure 3 is connected to both Node 1 and Node 2. The A slots are allocated to Node 1 and the B slots are allocated to Node 2.

Right-clicking a partition in Partition Assistant brings up a menu with the following options:

￿Delete — Deletes a partition.
