The following notices apply to machine type 4036-302.

The following telecommunications notices apply to those machines in which the print server is installed.

Electronic emission notices

Warning: This is a Class A product. In a domestic environment, this product may cause radio interference, in which case the user may be required to take adequate measures.

FCC Rules -- Part 15

The print server has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class A digital device, pursuant to Part 15 of the FCC Rules (Federal Communications Commission).

Operation is subject to the following two conditions:

(1)this device may not cause harmful interference, and (2) this device must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation.

The FCC Class A limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference when the equipment is operated in a commercial environment. This equipment generates, uses, and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed and used in accordance with the instruction manual, may cause harmful interference to radio communications. Operation of this equipment in a residential area is likely to cause harmful interference, in which case the user will be required to correct the interference at his own expense.

The manufacturer is not responsible for any radio or television interference caused by using other than recommended cables or by unauthorized changes or modifications to this equipment. Unauthorized changes or modifications could void the user's authority to operate this equipment.

Telecommunications notices

FCC rules Part 68

This equipment complies with Part 68 of the FCC Rules. A label on the back of the equipment shows its FCC registration number and ringer equivalence number (REN).

Your telephone company may ask you for these numbers in order to determine how many devices may be connected to your telephone line (in most areas, no more than five). If too many RENs are assigned to your telephone line, this device may not ring in response to an incoming call. Contact the telephone company to determine the maximum RENs for your calling area.

This equipment uses an RJ-11C Universal Service Order Code (USOC) jack, and is designed to be connected to the telephone network or premises wiring using a compatible jack that is FCC Part 68
