ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS
To prevent short circuits, we recommend that you disconnect the battery’s negative terminal and make all electrical connections before installing the unit.
•Be sure to ground this unit to the car’s chassis again after installation.
Notes:
•Replace the fuse with one of the specified rating. If the fuse blows frequently, consult your JVC
•It is recommended to connect to the speakers with maximum power of more than 50 W (both at the rear and at the front, with an impedance of 4 Ω to 8 Ω). If the maximum power is less than 50 W, change “Amp Gain” setting to prevent the speakers from being damaged (see page 89 of the INSTRUCTIONS).
•Incorrect wiring may result in damage to or destruction of vehicle components and safety devices.

CAUTION: If no ACC position exists on the ignition switch, connect the red lead through the unit to a terminal which can be switched on and off by the ignition switch. Otherwise, it may cause the car battery to be exhausted.
ATTENTION: Si l’interrupteur d’allumage ne possède pas de position ACC, connectez le fil rouge provenant de l’appareil à une prise qui peut être mise sous et hors tension par l’interrupteur d’allumage. Sinon, la batterie de la voiture risquerait de se décharger.
