Operating the Scanner
Setting the Magnification and Calibrating the
Scanner
Use your host computer’s scanner software to do this p rocedure.
NOTE: The terminology used in your scanner software may differ from that used
in this document. Refer to the software manual’s instructions for performing
specific operations such as calibrating the scanner and setting the
magnification.
With the empty 70MM-CAL film holder in place in the s canner:
1. Set the magnification to the desired level.
2. Calibrate the scanner.
Setting the Scan Parameters
Using the software installed on your host compute r , set t he scan p aramete rs, suc h
as the area to be scanned and the file that will contain the sca nned image.
Selecting the Negative or Positive Balancing Filter
1. Lift open the lamp-and-filter-access door.
