5If a classic view similar to the illustration below is displayed, click Network Connections to display the LAN or High-speed Internet connections.

6Right-click on your network connection. If more than one connection is displayed, be sure to select the one for your network interface.

7Select Properties from the pop-up menu to display the Local Area Connection Properties window:

8On the Local Area Connection Properties window, be sure Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) is checked. If it is not checked, check it.

9Select Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) and click Properties to display the Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) Properties window:
