To grant this reques t:
1Press A under Grant. The application accesses
your phone’s location.
2Select the grantin g option you want:
•Always — If the applicat ion requests access to

Setting Privacy for Each Java ApplicationAfter a given Java application r equests access to
the location of your phone for the first time, you have
the opportunity to set GPS privacy option for that
Java application.
1From the main menu, select Java Apps.
2Select the applica tion or suite of appli cations you
want to set the privacy option for.
If the application has requested access to the
location of your phone, m ap pears when you
highlight the applic ation.
3Press m.
4Select Permissions.
5Select the privacy option you want for this
application:
•Always — The applicat ion always has
permission to acces s the location of yo ur
phone, without notify ing you.
•Ask — When the application requests access
to the location of your phone, you are prompted
to grant or deny perm ission (see “Grantin g or
Denying Permission” on page 118).
• Never — When the appl ication requests
access to the location of your p hone, the
request is denied wit hout notifying you.
