you can apply them to your phone easily.
A profile contains these set t ing s :
•Ring Tones — sets all options desc ribed in “Ring
Tones” on pa ge 56, ex ce pt as si gn in g ri ng t ones to
Contacts.
• Display/Info — sets Wallpaper,Color Palette,
Text S ize, and Backlight options. See
“Display/Info Featur es” on page 138.
• Pho ne Calls — sets Set Line and Auto Ans
options. See “Phone Calls Features” on pa ge
138.
• Volume — sets all options des cribed in “Volume
Features” on page 14 0.
• Cal l Filter — controls which calls, call al erts, and
message notifications your phone responds to.

• Advanced — sets headset option. See
“Changing the Look of Your Phone” on page 135.
Your phone arrives with pr e-set profiles. You can
also create your own profiles.
Viewing Profiles
To view the profiles stored in your phone:
1From the main menu, select Profiles.
2Select the profile you want to view.
Tip: The profile that is currently in effect on your
phone has a checkmark next t o it.
3Press A under View.
4Scroll and select setti ngs to view their values.
Switching Profiles
To apply a profile to your phone:
1From the main menu, select Profiles.
2Scroll to the profi le you want to apply.
3Press O.
The profile you selected is now in effe c t.
How Changing Se ttings Affects
Profiles
Many of the settings contained in profiles can be set
without switching or editing profiles — for example,
by selecting Settings or Ring Tones to set options,
or by setting the volum e of the phone’s ring us ing
the volume controls.
