Choosing a Number to Call
•Select the number i n a text message yo u have
received.
Using a Voice NameIf you have created a voice name in Cont a ct s for th e
number you want to call, say the voice name into
your phone to enter the number. See page37 for
information on voice na me s .
You can use a voic e name to enter a n umber with
the flip open or clos ed.
1Press and hold t until a prompt appears telling
you to say the voice name.
2Speaking into the microphone, say the voice
name assigned to th e number you want t o call.
Your phone plays t he name back to you.
If you are making a phone call, the call is placed
automatically.
Tip:To stop a phone call from being completed,
press . if the flip is closed or pres s e.
If you are making a Boost Walkie-Ta lkieTM call, press
and hold the Boost Walkie-TalkieTM button to place
the call.
Redialing the Last NumberPress and hold s to place a call to the last phone
number you called.
Using Speed Dial and Turbo Dial®
Each phone number stored in Contacts is assigned
a Speed Dial number which yo u ca n us e to ca ll that
number.
Speed Dial
1From the idle screen, use the keypad to en ter the
Speed Dial number assi gned to the phone
number you want to call.
2Press #.
3Press s.
Turbo Dial
From the idle scree n, press and hold the Speed
Dial number (1 thro ugh 9) assigned to th e phone
number you want to call.
Using One Touch Boost Walkie-TalkieOne Touch Boost Walkie-Talkie sets your phone to
call the most recent Boost Walkie-TalkieTM number
on the recent calls list, or a Boost Walkie-Talkie TM
number you choose, every tim e yo u pre ss t he Boos t
Walkie-TalkieTM button. See “Setting One Touch
