Using a Headset
If you use a headset or similar device with your
phone, you can set your phon e to send incoming
sound to the headset only, or to the headset and
the speaker at the same time:
1From the main menu, sele ct Settings >
Advanced > Headset/Spkr.
2Select HdsetOnly to send incoming sound to
the headset only. -or-
Select Hdset&Spkr to send incoming sound to
the headset and ring tones to the speaker.
Note:If you are using your phone with a
headset, and you have the Flip to End
option set to On, closing your flip sends
incoming sound to t he headset and does
not end the call. See “Setting F lip Actions”
on page 50.

Attaching a Headset

1Lift the audio jack co ver.
2Insert the headset connec tor firmly into the
audio jack. You may have t o rotate the headset
connector until it fits secur ely into the audio jack.

Using a Remote Boost

Walkie-TalkieTM Button

If you are using a headset or other accessory with
a remote Boost Walkie-TalkieTM button, yo u ca n
use the remote Boost Walkie-TalkieTM button for
phone calls and Boost Walkie-TalkieTM calls.
For phone calls, use the remo te Bo os t
Walkie-TalkieTM button t o answer calls, switch
between calls, and e nd calls. Hold the r emote
Boost Walkie-TalkieTM butto n for le ss tha n 2
seconds to answer calls and switch between calls.
Hold the remote Boost Walkie-Talk ie TM button for
more than 2 seconds to end ca ll s.
For Boost Walkie-Talkie TM calls, use the remote
Boost Walkie-TalkieTM bu tton as you would t he
Boost Walkie-TalkieTM butt o n on you r pho ne.
