Datebook
Receiving RemindersIf you created a reminder for a Dat e bo ok eve nt ,
when the reminder time occurs, your phone notifies
you with text on the display and a reminder tone.
To view more details ab out the event:
Open the flip. -or-
Press A under View.
To dismiss the remi nder:
If the flip is closed, press . or open the flip. -or-
If the flip is open, press O, p ress A under
Dismiss, or close the flip.
Tip:You can set your phone to power on when
you receive a remind er. See “Customizing
Datebook Setup” on page 134.
For Events with Java Applications
If you assigned a Java applic ati on to start when the
event starts, you can start the ap pl ic at i on wh en you
get the reminder.
1Press m.
2Select Launch.
For Events with Numbers to Call
If you stored a phone number or Boost
Walkie-TalkieTM number in the Subject or Location
field of a Datebook event , yo u can ca ll or send a ca ll
alert to that number from the reminder for tha t event.
Making Calls From DatebookIf you stored a phone number or Boost
Walkie-TalkieTM number in the Subject or Location
field of a Datebook event , yo u can ca ll or send a ca ll
alert to that number from Datebook.
You can call the number stored in Subject and the
number stored in Location if one is a phone numb er
and the other is a Boo st Walkie-TalkieTM nu mbe r. If
both are the same t ype of number, the numbe r in
Subject is called or se nt a call alert. To call or se nd
a call alert to the number stored in Location, yo u
must delete the nu mber stored in Subject.
To make a call or send a call alert:
1Highlight or selec t the event containing the
number you want to call or s end a call alert to.
2To make a phone call:
Press s.-or-
Press m. Select Call # in Event.
