To restore your phon e’s ability to do all t hese things:

Using Settings
Settings contains many submenus that let you
customize your phon e.

Display/Info Features

The Display/Info menu cont rol s ho w th e ke ypad an d
display appear:
• Wallpaper — control s th e wal l paper t hat ap pe ars
on the idle screen.
• Theme — changes look of the display.
• Palette — changes the color scheme of the
display.
•Text Size — sets size of text on the displa y.
•Home Icons — controls whether main menu
icons appear on the idle screen .
• Backlight — controls backlight illumination.
•Clock — controls whether the time and date
appear on the idle screen; set s tim e and da te
format; sets year.
Menu View — controls wh ether the items on your
main menu and Java applications menu ap pear
as large icons or a list.
Large Dialing — sets large digits to appear on
the idle screen when you enter a number.
• Contrast — sets the contrast of the display.
• Language — sets the language that your phone
displays.

Phone Calls Features

The Phone Calls me nu controls how yo ur phone
handles phone calls:
•Set Line sets phone line 1 as the active line for
outgoing calls.
Any Key Ans — If thi s feature is on, you can
answer calls by pressing an y ke y on th e ke yp ad .
Auto Red ial — sets your phone to automatically
redial calls you make when the system is busy.
Auto Ans — sets your phone to automatically
answer an incoming call after a specified number
of rings. When this feature is on, the phone
answers by connecting you to the caller; it does
not send the call to voice mail, unless you are ou t
of coverage or on the line.
