SMS and Two-Way Messa ges

Calling and Storing Numbers

If an SMS message you receive contains a phone
number, you can call that nu m be r by pressing s
while viewing the m essage.
If an SMS message you receive contains a phone
number, Boost Walkie-TalkieTM number, or
Talkgroup ID, you c an call or send a ca ll alert to
that number, or sto re that number to C ontacts.
Press m while viewing the message to acces s
these options.
To call the number, se lect Call Back.
To send a call alert , select Alert, then p ress the
Boost Walkie-TalkieTM button.
To store the number to Contac ts, select Store
Number.
Two-Way Messages and Net Alerts
Two-Way messages can be sent and rec eived
through any email account and on
www.boostmobile.com. Your phone sends and
receives Two-Way messages through Boost
MobileTM Online services.
Your phone's Two-Way Messagi ng addres s is your
PTN@myboostmobile.com.
When you receive a Two-Way message, your
phone notifies you with a Net alert. Each Net alert
lets you view the Two-Way message associated
with it.
Net alerts appear in the me ssa ge cent er . T wo- Way
messages appear in the Boost MobileTM services
browser.

Receiving a Message

When you receive a Two-Way message, a Net
alert notification appears on the display.
To view the message:
Press A under Goto.
This lets you read the messa ge through Boost
MobileTM Online services.
To dismiss the Net alert not ification:
If the flip is closed, pres s ..-or-
If the flip is open, pres s A under Back or close
the flip.
This icon w appears on the display, reminding
you that you have a new messag e.
