2.5 Before Leaving Your Desk

2.5.3 Forwarding Calls from a Hunting Group

Pre-assigned extension users can forward calls arriving at any hunting group or calls arriving just at your own hunting group. The destination can be another hunting group or a specific extension. Some extensions may be restricted.

Hunting Group

A hunting group is a group of extensions organised in such a way that if the first destination is busy, the next destination is hunted until an idle destination is found. The order (hunting type) is assigned in a system programming. Consult your manager.

Extension Group (for your reference)

An extension group is used for group paging and group pickup features. An extension can belong to several extension groups.
