2.1.2 For ISDN Extension Users

ISDN extensions include ISDN terminal equipment such as telephones, facsimiles or personal computers connected to the ISDN (BRI) port (port 2 and port 3) on the main unit KX-TD612. A maximum of 8 ISDN extensions can be connected to each ISDN (BRI) port with point-to-multipoint configuration. However, only 2 units can be used simultaneously. Terminal equipment can be addressed individually with Multiple Subscriber Numbers (MSN). The MSN consists of the ISDN extension number and an additional digit, 00 through 99. If MSN is not assigned, all equipment on the same ISDN (BRI) Extension bus are called simultaneously.
