NMS IP Validation

Possible Settings: Enable, Disable

Default Setting: Disable

Specifies whether security checking is performed on the IP address of SNMP management systems attempting to access the node.

Enable – Security checking is performed on the IP address of SNMP management systems attempting to access the node.

Disable – No security checking is performed.

Number of Managers

Possible Settings: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10

Default Setting: 1

Specifies the number of SNMP management systems that can send SNMP messages.

1 – 5 – Number of trap managers. An NMS IP address is required for each manager.

NMS n IP Address

Possible Settings: 001.000.000.000 – 223.255.255.255, Clear

Default Setting: 000.000.000.000

Specifies the Internet Protocol address used to identify each SNMP manager.

001.000.000.000 – 223.255.255.255 – Enter an address for each SNMP manager. The range for the first byte is 001 to 223, with the exception of 127. The range for the remaining three bytes is 000 to 255.

Clear – Clears the IP address and sets to all zeros.

Access Level

Possible Settings: Read, Read/Write

Default Setting: Read

Determines the access level allowed for an authorized NMS when IP address validation is being performed.

Read – Allows read-only access (get) to the accessible objects in the MIB for this device.

Read/Write – Allows read/write access (get/set) to the accessible objects in the MIB for this device.
