5To add general information about the participant, i.e. email, company
name, etc..., click the Information tab and type the necessary details
in the Info 1-4 fields. Text in the info fields can be added in Unicode
format (length: 31 characters).
6Click OK.
The new participant is added to the address book.
Cascaded Link
(IP Only)
If this participant is used as a link between
conferences select:
Slave, if the participant is defined in a conference
running on a Slave MCU.
Master, if the participant is defined in a
conference running on the Master MCU.
It enables the connection of one conference directly
to another conference using an H.323 connection
only. The conferences can run on the same MCU or
different MCU’s. For more information, see "Enabling
Cascading” on page 2-51.
ISDN/PSTN
Network Service
Enables users to select the ISDN/PSTN network
service.
Telepresence
Mode
Setting the participant/endpoint Telepresence Mode
configures the RMX to receive the video format of the
RPX or TPX room endpoints.
If you are defining an endpoint that is part of a
telepresence room, select the room type as follows:
RPX - for room endpoints that transmit 4:3 video
format.
TPX - for room endpoints that transmit 16:9 video
format.
None (default) - to indicate a standard endpoint
that is not part of a telepresence room
configuration.
