Security Settings

FPress [Personal Box].

GEnter a Box Name.

For information about how to input characters, see the System Settings manual.

HPress [OK].

IEnter a Box Code.

Note

❒To change the Box Code, press the {Clear/Stop} key or [Clear] and try again. To change Box Name, press [Box Name] and re- peat step G.

❒If you make a mistake, press the {Clear/Stop} key or [Clear] and try again.

JSpecify any settings you require.

If you do not program [Password] or [Receiver], go to step K.

Programing a Password

APress [Password].

BEnter a password.

Note

❒If you enter an incorrect password for a document three times consecutively, document access is refused. Turn off the main power switch, and then turn it on to re-enter correctly. However, access attempts for other documents are still accepted.

❒Enter Password using 4-digit number.

❒If you make a mistake, press the {Clear/Stop} key or [Clear] and try again.

CPress [OK].
