9 Using the GPS Function

This camera can obtain and use GPS (Global Positioning System)
information (longitude and latitude) in two ways.
The first is by connecting the camera directly to a GPS module.
The second is by using a Bluetooth® SPP (Serial Port Profile) to
connect to a Bluetooth® GPS unit.
You can record GPS information on shot still images. GPS
information recorded with a still image can be displayed on the
Playback mode screen.

•For information about using the GPS module or Bluetooth® GPS unit, see the
documentation that came wit h the device.
•GPS information can be reco rded to still images shot with thi s camera.
•GPS information cannot be r ecorded with a text mode stil l image or movie.
•Under some geographical conditions, GPS information cannot be obtained.
•In some cases, positioning may take time.
