Setting Up the Printer
H Put your fingers inside the upper cover of the printer and remove the cover by pulling upward.

❒The upper cover of the printer is no longer required.

I Remove the interchange unit cov- er from the interchange unit.

J Move the cable to the back of the printer. Place the interchange unit onto the printer as shown in the illustration.

K Open the upper right cover (A) and slide the interchange unit while keeping the cover perpen- dicular to the printer (B). At this time, confirm that the projection (C) is placed in the hole securely as shown in the illustration.

L Fasten the two screws with fin- gers, while keeping the upper right cover of the interchange unit perpendicular to the printer, and secure the interchange unit to the printer. Use a coin to fasten the screws.
