From the [Available ports:] box, select the printer port, and then click [Next]. Change the name of the printer if you want, and then click [Next].
In the next dialog box asking if you want to print a test page, select [No] and then click [Finish].

Note
❒When setting up options, you should access the Printer Properties from Win- dows. You cannot set up options when accessing the Printer Properties from an application.
A Click [Start] on the taskbar, point to [Settings], and then click [Printers].
The [Printers] window appears.
B Click the icon of the printer you want to use. On the [File] menu, click [Properties].
C Click the [Device Options] tab.
The [Installable options] group appears.
D From the [Installable options] box, select the option you have installed.
The current setting is displayed in the [Change settings for:] list.
E Use the [Change setting for:] list to select the appropriate setting for the select- ed option.
F Click [Apply] to apply the settings you made.
G After making all settings you want, click [OK].
