MF/AF (Manual Focus/Auto Focus)

✤The MF/AF function works in CAM, M.REC mode only.

✤In most situations, it is better to use the automatic focus feature, as it enables you to concentrate on the creative side of your recording.

✤Manual focusing may be necessary under certain conditions that make automatic

focusing difficult and/or unreliable. a

Auto Focusing

✤If you are inexperienced in the use of camcorders, we recommend that you

make use of Auto Focus. c

Manual Focusing

	✤ In the following cases you may obtain
	better results by adjusting the focus
	manually.	1
a.	A picture containing several objects, some
	close to the camcorder, others further away.
b.	A person enveloped in fog or surrounded by
	snow.
c.	Very shiny or glossy surfaces like a car.

Enfoque manual / enfoque automático (MF/AF)

✤ La función MF/AF sólo opera en las modalidades CAM y M.REC. ✤ En la mayoría de casos es mejor usar el enfoque automático, ya que permite concentrarse en el aspecto creativo de la grabación.

✤ El enfoque manual puede ser necesario bajo ciertas condiciones que hacen que el enfoque automático resulte difícil o poco fiable.

	✤ Si no posee experiencia en el uso de
	videocámaras, le recomendamos que
	use el enfoque automático.

	Enfoque manual
	✤ En los siguientes casos se pueden
d	obtener mejores resultados ajustando
	el enfoque manualmente:
	a. Cuando una imagen contiene varios
	objetos, algunos situados cerca de la
	videocámara y otros lejos de ella.
	b. Cuando hay una persona envuelta en la
	niebla o rodeada por la nieve.
	c. Cuando se graban superficies muy
	brillantes, como un coche.
	d. Cuando hay gente u objetos que se
	mueven constantemente o con rapidez,
	como una multitud o un atleta.

1.Set the power switch to CAM mode.

2.Move the MENU SELECTOR up or down until the FOCUS is highlighted and then push the

MENU SELECTOR.	3
■ M. FOCUS(MF) will display.

3.Move the MENU SELECTOR up or down until the object is in focus.

■ Zoom out a little if focusing is difficult.

4. To return to AF (Auto Focus: ), M. FOCUS MF

push the MENU SELECTOR again.

1.Ajuste el interruptor en la modalidad CAM.

2.Suba o baje el botón SELECTOR MENÚ hasta seleccionar FOCUS y, a continuación, pulse SELECTOR MENÚ.

■Aparecerá el mensaje M. FOCUS(MF).

3.Desplace el SELECTOR MENÚ hacia arriba o hacia abajo hasta que el objeto esté enfocado.

■Si el enfoque resulta difícil, aleje un poco la imagen por medio del zoom.

4.Para regresar a la función AF (enfoque
