AssigningSpeed Dial Numbers
Your phone can store up to 98 phone numbers in speed dial
locations. (For details on how to make calls using speed dial
numbers, see “Using Speed Dialing”on page 49.)
To assign a speed dial number:
1. From the Contacts list, selecta Contacts entry that has a
phone number to which you would like to assign a speed
dial and press .
2. Highlightthe number and press Options (right softkey) >
SetSpeed Dial.
3. Selectan available speed dial location and press .
or –
1. Press >Settings > More... > Contacts > Speed Dial #’s.
2. Selectan available speed dial location and press .
3. Selectan entry from the list and press . The entry’s
defaultphone number is assigned.
nTo selectanother phone number of the entry, press
the navigation key rightor left.
Editinga Contacts Entry’s Information
To edita personal Contacts entry’s information:
1. Display the Contacts listand highlight the entry you
wish to edit.
2. Press Options (rightsoftkey) >EditContact.
3. Selectthe field you wish to edit, and then add or edit the
information and press .
Note If you attemptto assign an already in-use speed dial location
to a new phone number, a message will appear asking if you
wish to replace the existing speed dial assignment. Select
Replaceto assign the location to the new phone number and
delete the previous speed dial assignment.
