42 Section 2B: Making and Answering Calls

Missed Call Notification

When an incoming call is notanswered, the Missed Call log is

displayed on your screen.

To display the Missed Call entry from the notification screen:

©Selectthe entry and press . (Select an option to

continue.)

To display a Missed Call entry from standby mode:

1. Press >Missed Alerts.

2. Selectthe entry you wish to view and press .

Calling Emergency Numbers

You can place calls to 911 (dial ), even if your

phone is locked or your accountis restricted.

During an emergency call, press Options(right softkey) to

displayyour options. Select an option and press .

vSpeaker Onto activate speakerphone mode. (If you are in

speakerphone mode, the option is displayed as Speaker Off

to deactivate.)

vUnlock MyPhone to unlock your phone (appears only if the

phone is locked).

vClose Menuto close the pop-up menu (appears only if the

phone is unlocked).

Tip Press My Phone(leftsoftkey) to display your phone number

during an emergency call.

Note When you place an emergency call, your phone automatically

enters Emergency mode.
