Accessing Messaging
You can send and receive email messages, instantmessages,
and textmessages and participate in Web-based chat rooms
rightfrom your phone. Messaging allows you to stay
connected 24 hours a day anywhere on the Sprintnetwork.

Message Types

There are many types of textmessaging available on your
phone. These include SMS TextMessaging, SprintInstant
Messaging, Email, and Chat.
(SprintVoicemail provides voicemail-to-mailbox messaging.

“Using Voicemail”on page 165.)

Using SprintMail

SprintMail allows you to perform many of the typical email
functions from your phone thatyou can from your personal
computer.You can manage your SprintMail accountfrom
your phone or online atwww.sprint.com.
1. From the SprintPower Vision home page, select
Messaging> Email > PCS Mail.
2. If you’re a first-time user, your phone will promptyou to
setup your Sprint Mail account by establishing a user
name and password.
3. Selectthe folder you wish to view, such as Inboxor
Compose.
