Data Connection Status and Indicators

Your phone displays the currentstatus of your data

connection through indicators atthe top of the screen.

The following symbols are used:

ASprintVision (3G) connection is active (data is being

transferred); the transmit/receive symbol will blink to

indicate data transmission. Incoming voice calls go

directly to voicemail; outgoing voice calls can be made,

butthe Sprint Vision connection will terminate.

ASprintVision connection is dormant (no data is being

sentor received). Though not currently active, when

dormantthe phone can restart an active connection

quickly; voice calls can be made and received.

Your phone is notcurrently able to access SprintVision

service features.

ASprintPower Vision (EVDO) connection is active (data is

being transferred); the transmit/receive symbol will

animate to indicate data transmission. Voice calls can be

made and received. When you make or receive a call, the

SprintPower Vision connection will automatically be

interrupted.

ASprintPower Vision connection is available butno data

is currently being transferred.

ASprintPower Vision service is dormant. (No data is

being sentor received.)

Ifno indicator is displayed, your phone does not have a current

data connection. To launch a connection, see “Launching a

Data Connection”on page 184.
