3. Enter a message or use the presetmessages or smileys
(icons) and press OK(left softkey).
nTo type a message, use your keypad to enter your
message. Press Mode(right softkey) to select an
inputmode. (See “Entering Text”on page 29.)
nTo use a presetmessage or a smiley, press Mode
(rightsoftkey), select SMILEYS orPreset Messages,
and then selecta message or emoticon and press .
4. Scroll down to selectthe message priority (Ordinary or
Urgent), setthe callback number, set the signature, or
setthe delivery receipt.
5. Review your message and press Send(leftsoftkey).
(You may selectadditional messaging options by
pressing Options[rightsoftkey] to change the recipients
or saveto draft.)
Accessing SMS TextMessages
To read an SMS Textmessage:
©When you receiveatextmessage, it will be displayed
automatically on your phone’s screen. Use your
navigation key to scroll down and view the entire
message.
To reply to an SMS Textmessage:
1. While the messageis open, press Reply(leftsoftkey).
or –
Highlightthe messagein the Inbox, and press Options
(rightsoftkey) >Reply With > TextMessage.
Tip You can simply press the Textkey to access the Send Text
screen.
