MISFEED REMOVAL

A MISFEED HAS OCCURRED.

Misfeed in paper trays 1 and 2

CLEAR	INDICATED AREA.
PRESS	FOR RECOVERY INSTRUCTIONS.

Open the right side cover.

lHold the handle and gently open the cover.

lIf any paper is set in the bypass tray, remove the paper and close the bypass tray before opening the right side cover.

Remove the misfed paper.

lBe careful not to tear the misfed paper during removal.

CHAPTER5

3If the paper cannot be seen from the side, pull out the paper tray which was in use and remove the misfed paper.

l Be careful not to tear the misfed paper during removal.

4Close the paper tray and the side cover.

5Open and close the front cover to cancel the misfeed display.

l Confirm that the misfeed display is cleared.
