Optional Settings

Setting 31: DIAL SELECTION

If the dual line option has been installed, you can use this setting to specify how each line will be used. Reception only, transmission only, or free (both reception and transmission are allowed) can be selected. Enter a number from 1 to 7 as follows:

1 (L1=TX/RX, L2=TX/RX): Both lines free

2 (L1=TX/RX, L2=RX): Line 1 free, Line 2 reception only

3 (L1=TX/RX, L2=TX): Line 1 free, Line 2 transmission only

4 (L1=RX, L2=TX/RX): Line 1 reception only, Line 2 free

5 (L1=RX, L2=TX): Line 1 reception only, Line 2 transmission only

6 (L1=TX, L2=TX/RX): Line 1 transmission only, Line 2 free

7 (L1=TX, L2=RX): Line 1 transmission only, Line 2 reception only

Note: The Dial Selection setting will only appear if your dealer has installed the dual line option.

Note: If you set a line to “reception only” and Rapid Key or Speed Dial numbers exist that specify use of that line, INVALID LINE SET IN RAPID/SPEED # will appear in the display. Press 1 to change the line selections in the Rapid Key or Speed Dial numbers to “no selection”, or press 2 to cancel the “reception only” selection for the line.

Note: A line cannot be set to “transmission only” if it is being used for FAST remote maintenance by your dealer.
